One for all your horror fans out there SAW is back
John Kramer AKA Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) is back – for the sixth time!
Directed by Kevin Grutert, the latest instalment of the SAW series doesn’t fail to please, and from the moment the movie starts we are thrown into a sickening scene.
Following on from where SAW V left off, we see Hoffman, played by Costas Mandilor, emerging as victorious - or so it appears.
Soon enough we are introduced to Will (Peter Outerbridge)– an insurance broker, who obviously has crossed paths with the notorious Jigsaw at some point.
It is him who will be tested and that is where the games really do begin.
The film follows a similar format as before, but surprisingly this time round there is a plot and a lot more questions are answered.
Flashbacks from previous films help to jog your memory, so don’t worry too much if you have forgotten all the ins and outs.
However, it can become confusing at times especially when there is so much blood and guts to take in.
Jill, John Kramer's wife, plays a significant role in this SAW. After being presented with a box – her presence in the film is vital.
The box is an important part of this story and that’s all I will say.
Her involvement in John’s way of thinking starts to unravel and we see more into their relationship - is she truly part of his big plan or is she just trying to find a way to escape?
SAW VI has sharpened its knives and compared to its predecessors is much more stomach-churning, so make sure you are prepared for over-the-top gore!
Despite the usual gross out, it’s definitely worth a trip to the cinema.
