Getting to know you: Lea Carreno
Lea Carreno is a knitwear designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins and has had her work exhibited in the Victoria and Albert museum, here she tells Arts London News a bit more about herself.
1. What was the last text you received and who from?
My flatmates bank details. bills bills bills.
2. How many friends do you have on facebook?
More than I have in reality.
3. Tell us something about you that no one else knows?
I ate banana cake for breakfast this morning.
4. Where is your favourite place on earth?
I don't think I have been there yet.
5. What was the last lie you told?
The one I told myself this morning when I convinced myself that if I snoozed for ten more minutes I would still make it to work in plenty of time.
6. What's your biggest vice?
It depends on who is Judging....Fun?
7. If you had £10,000 how would you spend it?
I would travel and look for interesting things to inspire a collection building up a library of artefacts, textiles, fabrics, embellishments for me to bring back to London and marvel over.
8. If you could give yourself a nickname what would it be?
That's not how nicknames work!
9. Describe yourself in three words?
No.
10. What's the most played track on your ipod?
White Rose Movement.
