Rich Mix | Venue Review

So much more than just a cinema, Rich Mix, in the vibrant area of Shoreditch, is London’s up and coming multi-functioning arts centre.

Perfectly located at the top of Brick Lane, Rich Mix shows a varied selection of films from Blockbusters to independent arty films, world films and documentaries.

The building was fully refurbished in 2006 and its cinema is modern and contemporary with beautiful works of art on the walls of their 3 plush cinema screens.

Relaxing atmosphere

There is a very relaxed feel, alongside spacious seating - something you struggle to find in the bustle of the West End.

Aside from film, their art and cultural centre boasts "the best in art, performance, fashion, design, music, dance, film, theatre and comedy."

They host and promote local and aspiring talents, some of which are showcased in their large bar area where you can come and relax on one of the big sofas and enjoy something from their ample range of food and drink.

Rich Mix is creative and contemporary without being pretentious, something the area can sometimes be guilty of.
