National Portrait Gallery is offering 6 pairs of free tickets to see the exhibition Thomas Lawrence: Regency Power and Brilliance at the National Portrait Gallery from 21 October 2010 to 23 January 2010.

This exhibition, the first in the UK for over thirty years, presents fifty-four never-before-seen works and provides a fresh understanding of Lawrence’s career.

Thomas Lawrence was the greatest British portrait painter of his generation and one of the most celebrated artists in Europe in the early decades of the nineteenth century. A key figure in the history of British art, Lawrence created a lasting image of the vibrant and luxurious Regency period with dazzling brushwork and an innovative use of colour.
