UAL's Snow Society have a Merry Christmas

Arts London Snow’s trip to France has again proven to be a massive success. Speaking to Arts London News, tour organiser, Lucinda Finley labelled the trip “amazing”.
The trip ran over the Christmas break and took the students to Les Arcs in France – a 20-hour coach journey away.
It was hosted by London Snowsports, a group involving six different universities: UAL, Imperial, Greenwich, London Southbank, Westminster and Ravensbourne.
This combined effort meant for a greater student experience whilst on the trip.
Finley said: “This year we ran a joint trip at London Snowsport, making it a trip of 370 London students. From UAL we had four alumini, four committee members, two complete beginners and 13 had been on a UAL ski-trip before.”
The social aspect of the trip was of an extremely high standard, ensuring the students got their money’s worth.
“A good group of about 12 managed to get on the slopes before 10am everyday - everyone else was suffering massive hangovers! We had ‘apres ski’ from 4pm and then every one went home for dinner before heading out again to the local bars and then onto the club," Finlay explained.
“We had three fancy dress nights - animals, super heroes and 80’s themed. One evening we had a meal of raclette with wine up in the mountains with all the other universities, which lead to dancing on tables and adventure skiing in the dark on the way home!”
Arts London Snow have organised two events in the coming months.
One is a reunion party to be held at Holborn’s Blueprint Bar on January 27, and all of the London Snowsports participants are invited.
The society is also holding another trip to Austria during the Easter holidays from March 24 to March 31.
