LCC Vice Presidential Race Begins
Four students are running to become your LCC Student Union Vice President:

Richard Schembri, FDA Production for Live Events and Television, has represented students' views as course rep
and is now confident in representing on a larger scale.
If elected he will campaign to install locker spaces; resolve course alterations; exhibit student photography at the SU Darkroom bar to showcase talent; introduce reusable UAL flasks for hot drinks as a green incentive to compensate for the cost of buying such large amounts of paper cups; introduce reasonable printing costs in the library by allowing students to print under record instead of having to pay £2 for a card every time a student forgets it; campaign for timetables and room rotas to be electronic and placed on an accessible system and to display student art on the outside of the tower block to create a brighter exterior and increase publicity.
George Clark, course rep for BA Public Relations, was motivated to run after witnessing the loss of courses and the alleged mismanagement of others including his own. He wants to fight for the courses that have already been affected and protect those those not yet affected.
Rosemary Nywndwa-Bryce, Diploma Digital Origination, wants to use her experience as a legal representative to improve student rights.
Since 1998, she has been representing herself in various court cases and feels she has the tenacity and hunger for justice required for the role. If elected she will be an ambassador for all students, be approachable at all times, be diplomatic but firm in representing student rights and work with the NUS at all times, acting collectively to bring results.
Valentino Lazaridis, FDA Animation, has experience in communication along with the ability to listen and learn. He wants student experience to thrive and improve facilities.
If elected he will conduct regular meetings with course
, schools, and other representatives of LCC, encourage involvement in Student Union activities throughout the year, ensure student campaigning, volunteer in Student Union activities and address and solve the issue of hidden costs.
